Robert C. Hudson

Robert C. Hudson, 82, passed away on January 21, 2024. He was born on December 11, 1941.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Bailey, his son Robert Jr., his daughter Stephanie, his brother Charles Kevin Hudson, his sister Sharon Hudson Fordham, his cousins Ellen Adair Hankinson and Catherine Adair Duvall, multiple Hudson cousins, and four grandchildren.

Robert attended Landon High School and went on to further his education at the University of Alabama and the University of Florida.

He proudly served in the US Army, completing two tours in Vietnam.

Robert had a successful career in healthcare administration. He worked for Alachua General Hospital as the Administrator of the hospital before transferring to Santa Fe Healthcare, where he ultimately retired as CEO.

In his free time, Robert enjoyed retirement with friends and family. He cherished moments spent traveling, hunting, and fishing.

A memorial mass to celebrate Robert's life will be held at 11 am, St. Andrew Chapel in Cedar Key, followed by interment at Cedar Key Cemetery on February 3, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Haven Hospice in memory of Robert.
