Hmmm l thought I have a good understanding of writing tk2 but I think am yet to.
The eassy is pretty good but both BP have contradictory sentence at the end of each paragraph. Will this eassy earn band 8 for coherence as well as task achievement? with the opposing sentence.
I had gone through the comments and links attached to the comments that have similar question as mine but it didn’t give a clear answer.
And I will like to use this opportunity to say a very big thank you for your great effort in making IELTS simple.

Hi Chris,
No doubt 2nd one is awesome!!
I have a question: The essay has asked about effects and solution. Are we not suppose to define the causes of the problem as well – to introduce a problem?

“At contemporary times myriad people get tough time competing young folks for the same opportunity owing to the reason that employer seeks same quality of work from the young people with cheaper price, which offshoots multifarious consequences such as non-fulfilment of market needs and injecting insecurity among senior people of losing job. This essay would deliberate upon bleaker aftermaths of tough competition by young graduates to the older one and its practical and doable way-out.”

the second essay must have scored higher because it is right on topic whereas the the first essay is completely off topic.
