Hi Chris, You are the best trainer for IELTS writing. I am not a VIP student, but I got 7 in writing by the grace of Almighty. I had an “advantages outweigh disadvantages” type essay and I used only one idea for one body paragraph. This is a common misconception for many IELTS students – you do NOT need to write multiple advantages and disadvantages, problems and solutions etc. One of each is all you need to meet the task requirements 🙂

hello. I ,have only one doubt. in the essay topic like advantage(s), problem(s), solution(s), effect(s) it is ok to write down only one idea paragraph. is that plural form has some meaning and asking that at least you have to put two benefits and two drawbacks

Don’t worry! Most IELTS question types follow the same basic structure:

Introduction
Main Body Paragraph 1
Main Body Paragraph 2
Conclusion

You should change the information that you include in each paragraph to suit the type of question you received.
