By adding this example in the 2nd body paragraph the word count would increase to 257

If my opinion is only expressed in the conclusion? As it indicates “Discuss both views and give your opinion” it could be understood that first is necessary to discuss and after it to express your own opinion.

It should be ” Task Response” as opposed to ” Task Achievement” for writing task 2. Am I right? Otherwise, it is the same or not.

Thanks!

If you have the luxury of time, can you comment on this? and what band score would you give? Thanks in advance.

It is often argued whether students who gain excellent marks on academics should be more deserving of rewards rather than those who exemplify improvements. It is agreed that both type of students are deserving of such recognition. This essay will discuss both points of view followed by a reasoned conclusion.

Success in studies does not happen overnight, and it requires perseverance and passion for excellence. For a student to reach high marks at school, means it is a product of consistent hardwork and love for ones’ dreams and ambition to be on top. That is to say, most students who have been included in the honors society have sacrificed a lot, to be deserving of such accolades. For example, a friend of mine who graduated on top of her class, never fails to spend at least two hours of daily library research, in addition to extra studying hours up to half past midnight on weekends.

On the other hand, there are students who are not consistent achievers at first, but because of perseverance as well, have worked their way through and have displayed better performance. That is to say, although they did not land on the honors section, they refuse to give up, until they have improved. For instance, my nephew on the first grading period gets a grade of 76 in Vocabulary. She is not satisfied and have started a study plan to read every night for 1 hour. As a result, her grades increases to 86 after four months.

In conclusion, academic rewards are deserved by those students who has the passion, patience and ability not to give up despite the difficulties of studying. These characteristics are possessed by these two type of students, which makes them earned equal rights to be highly recognized by their institution.

Hi Daniel

Thanks for making me aware of this. Unforgivable mistake.

I use a word counter on all of my essays and it sometimes counts the last essay rather than the current one.

Thanks again.
Chris

Is it not below the minimum established by the IELTS requirements?
