Hi there, we advise you not to do that, as it sounds both forced and unnatural. We don’t advise students to try to force idioms into their speech, but rather to show that they can use idiomatic language appropriately by using phrasal verbs. Idioms, however, should be used sparingly, and only when you are sure that you are using them accurately and appropriately.
