Hi there, you have misunderstood the question, and that is why you find the sample answer confusing. The question is not asking if high-level positions should be given to women. Even students with very strong English skills will score a Band 5 for Task Response if they can’t analyse the question. The question is asking that should the higher level positions are given to women or not. Means are you agree or disagree, but in the 1st paragraph, the answer is saying why this is happening. However, in question the examiner did not expected you to give explaination; the examiner just want to know about agreement or disagreement. Is not it ? And if we will give explaination, we might lose our score. It should be
BP1 point 1 about agreement
BP2 point 2 about agreement
